Connecting a Scheduler

Central’s AI Receptionist can autonomously book meetings with callers. You can connect it to a scheduler right out of the box. When you’re in the AI Receptionist Dashboard, on the right-hand side of the screen, about one-third of the way down, you’ll see a “Scheduler” option. Click the “Click to add a scheduler” dropdown list. Image Tap ”+ Add” next to your preferred scheduler. Depending on which scheduler you pick, the next step might either ask you for something like an API key, OR redirect you to the respective platform to login and connect your account to Central. Make sure you read the steps carefully, ensuring you give Central the requested permissions. Once you’ve granted the necessary permissions, again, depending on the platform, you may have to choose some settings: e.g. with Calendly or Cal.com, you will have to choose which scheduler you’d like to use. For Google Calendar, you’ll have to choose your available times, etc. Once that’s done, your AI Receptionist will be able to make bookings on the phone for you, and send them directly to your calendar, and the client’s email!

Supported schedulers

The AI Receptionist supports multiple schedulers: Google Calendar, Cal.com, Calendly, Zoho Calendar, Clio Calendar, and even Central’s own free Central Scheduler are just some of the options you can choose from.
Note for Calendly Users: Your callers may have to wait up to 3 minutes for their appointment to be confirmed when you are using Calendly. During this wait, they will hear hold music.Central Scheduler is just as powerful as Calendly, better, and much faster. Not to mention - free! Feel free to make the switch (tap “Scheduler” in the Central app to set it up!)

Don’t see your scheduler listed?

While we try to maintain an extensive list of the most common integrations, it’s possible we may have missed yours! Let us know which one we need to add on support@trycentral.com Though, please note, not all platforms support the ability for third party integrations.
